A voice-first marketplace for street vendors who don’t type.
What I’m building
A vendor speaks — “tengo tomates, veinte pesos el kilo” — snaps a photo, and Mercado Local writes the listing, sets a fair price from local data, and puts it in front of nearby buyers. No typing, no fees they can’t afford.
Why I’m building it
I come from a family of market vendors. They’re brilliant salespeople and they’re locked out of every app because those apps assume you type fast in English and have a card on file. This meets them exactly where they are.
What the tokens unlock
Credits run the Spanish speech-to-listing pipeline and the vision model that cleans up phone photos into something that sells.
